Nomenclature Quizzes

The following exercises are designed to test your ability to correctly draw the structure of a compound based on its name.

This is done using a simple molecular editor called JSME that runs from within a browser on most platforms (Windows, Linux, Android, Apple Mac and iOS).

Another example to look at is http://biomodel.uah.es/en/DIY/JSME/draw.en.htm This combines JSME and JSmol for drawing 2D and 3D structures.
