The Mona Symposium, January, 2020
Natural Products and Medicinal Chemistry
On Monday, January 6, 2020 the official launch of the 28th staging of the biennial,
Mona Symposium took place in the Science Lecture Theatre 3 (SLT3).
The event featured addresses by esteemed members of the UWI Mona community
including Vice-Chancellor of The University of the West Indies,
Professor Sir Hilary Beckles; Principal of The UWI Mona, Professor Dale Webber;
and former Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology and Chair of the Mona Symposium,
Professor Paul Reese.
