Corundum - Al2O3
Al2O3 has a common structural arrangement shared by many oxides of the transition metals with formula A2O3. It has a hexagonal close packed array of oxide ions with Al(III) sitting in 2/3 of the octahedral sites.

Complexes that adopt this structure include..
V2O3, Cr2O3, FeTiO3 and a form of Fe2O3.
Information is available to show how the individual structural pages were created.
