Bismuth Iodide - BiI3
BiI3 has a common structural arrangement shared by many halides of the transition metals with formula MX3. It has a hexagonal close packed array of iodide ions with Bi(III) sitting in 1/3 of the octahedral sites and between adjacent layers of I's.

Complexes that adopt this structure include..
TiCl3, TiBr3, CrBr3, FeCl3, FeBr3.
Information is available to show how the individual structural pages were created.
