1. Carbohydrate Chemistry - The synthesis of branched-chain sugars
and their derivatives. Naturally occurring polysaccharides - structure
and modifications.
2. The detection and monitoring of pesticides in terrestrial
and aquatic environments.
3. Natural Products Chemistry -Biologically active compounds
from Jamaican plants, with special reference to the Cucurbitaceae.
4. Flavour components of coffee and cocoa.
