persons of good character who graduated with a major in Chemistry, its equivalent, or a higher degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, or those who would like to associate themselves with the Association upon election by the Council of Management and payment of each subscription and other dues as may from time to time be fixed and determined by Regulations made in accordance with these Articles.

Membership shall be comprised of four(4) categories:
Category 1 Ordinary Membership

This classification shall be open to alumni who graduated from UWI with a major in Chemistry or its equivalent or a higher degree.

Category 2 Associate Membership

This classification shall be awarded by the Council of Chemsaf to such individuals who while not fulfilling category (i) above are considered appropriate as members of the Association.

Category 3 Corporate Membership

This classification shall be awarded by the Council of Chemsaf to such organisations considered appropriate to be members of the association.

Category 4 Honary Membership

This classification shall be awarded by the Council of Chemsaf to persons of professional or other public distinction who may by their membership be likely to assist the Association in pursuance of its objectives.
