Research Interests
Reduction of potentially toxic oxoanions by kinetically
active cellular and non-cellular substrates.
Stereoselectivity in Biomolecular Reactions Involving Metal
Ion Complexes.
Molecular Mechanics(MM) and its uses in the study of
structural aspects of ligand systems and complexes of main group and
transition metal ions.
The search for potentially useful novel bimetallic and
trimetallic systems.
The mediatory role of dissolved molecular oxygen in redox
reactions with particular emphasis on amino acids, vitamins and small
molecular weight substrates of biological interest.
